Georgia SR-22 Insurance Requirements
Georgia requires SR-22 certificates for reinstatement after DUI, driving uninsured, or too many points. Filings go to the Georgia Department of Driver Services.
How long: three years of continuous coverage.
Minimum liability: 25/50/25.
Georgia verifies insurance electronically through the Georgia Electronic Insurance Compliance System, so gaps are detected within days. Reinstatement fees must also be paid before your license is restored.
