Missouri SR-22 Insurance Requirements
Missouri drivers file SR-22 certificates with the Missouri Department of Revenue after DUI/DWI, uninsured accidents, or point suspensions.
How long: two years for most alcohol-related offenses, three years for some repeat cases.
Minimum liability: 25/50/25.
Missouri also requires an Ignition Interlock Device for many DWI reinstatements. A non-owner SR-22 works if you no longer keep a vehicle registered in your name.
